Review by Jane Salmon for Stamina 50-Pound Versa-Bell Adjustable Dumbbell Pair
Rating:
I am a very healthy and reasonably fit 50-year woman. I play tennis and swim 50-100 lengths daily. I bought the weights to gradually improve my upper arm strength. They are fantastically versatile, the only comment I would have is that I think the weights should start from 5lbs, not 10lbs.
Two of my friends used the weights and found the lowest weights too heavy to start training. My sons use them and can do much heavier weights.
We all gave them a score of 5 out of 5.

They work well for now, but they seem like after much use they could have problems. Only time will tell but I am happy with them for now.

Review by M. Fanto for Ironmaster Quick Lock Dumbell 120 lb Add on Kit
Rating:
I was surprised to read that anyone would give this system a single star, but then again a customer should consider what kind of work out program they want start prior to buying any weight set. I bought this system because I wanted to build dumbells that were between 125-135 pounds, and I needed a system that was safe to “drop” when my set was complete. You can’t build dumbells this heavy with other brands, and you certainly can’t drop weights made by Bowflex or other companies that produce simular products quick change products. These weights are high quality. I have used them for the last year and have had no problems. If you want a system simuliar to what you would find in a professional gym this is it. In addition, I had no problems with their customer service.

Review by Z. Rousedower for Ironmaster Quick Lock Dumbell 120 lb Add on Kit
Rating:
I cannot believe no one has ever thought of these Quick Lock Dumbbells. The plates are thin and easily stackable. The whole system for changing the weights is so simple. The rack is easy to assemble, sturdy, and convenient for organizing everything. I look at the other adjustable dumbbell systems and they look too complicated and not durable. These Quick Lock Dumbbells are robust and reliable. They work like the dumbells at the gym, assuming they have quality ones. No rattling with these babies, they become one solid unit no matter the weight. I got the 120 lbs. add-on kit to do one handed clean and jerks (if that is the right name for them). I did this movement (with 120 lbs.) on a balcony and felt confident that the dumbbell would not fall apart and fall over the railing. In the near future I will probably order the custom screws to get up to 160lbs dumbbells! Honestly I have been waiting my whole life to get something like this. Now I don’t have to depend on a packed “Globo-Gym” full of annoying mirrors and “more attractive than me” people to use quality dumbbells.

Review by Grrrr! for Ironmaster Quick Lock Dumbell 120 lb Add on Kit

I have to say that anyone giving this set 1-star hasn’t used it. The Ironmaster adjustable dumbbells are the best on the market (and on the lower end of the price scale) and the add-on to 120 lb. just increases the value. Yes, it takes maybe 45 seconds to change all of the weights (for both ends of both dumbbells), but it’s worth it. These are STURDY and feel as solid as a fixed weight- something I can’t say for the Bowflex or Powerblocks. With the add-on, you can create DBs of any weight (in 2.5 lb. increments) from 5 lbs. to 120 lbs. It would take a minimum of 2 dozen dumbbells and over 3k lbs. of weight. It’s a brilliant solution and will last you for many, many years.

I got the 75lb Quick Lock dumbbells a couple years ago and then the 120lb add on kit later direct from Ironmaster. Very strong and safe feeling.

definately not convenient and their customer service was very poor and unfriendly. Will not do business with them again.
weights were not easy to use, I recommend easier dumbbells like bowflex or turbo bells 5-60
